TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G Price in Kenya

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G has been listed at different prices by Kenyan retailers. TECNO's Kenyan retail promotion reported in October 2026 offers the phone at KSh 44,999, compared with its stated regular retail price of KSh 55,999, during the promotional period ending 31 October 2026. Other retailer listings may differ depending on the memory configuration, warranty and availability.

Before purchasing, confirm the final price, included accessories and warranty with an authorised retailer.

Design and Display

The phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This combination provides smooth scrolling, colourful visuals and a more responsive experience when navigating apps or playing supported games.

Its slim profile gives it a modern appearance despite the large battery. The phone is available in colours including Mystic Purple, Melting Silver and Storm Titanium, depending on stock.

Performance and Storage

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, designed to handle everyday apps, multitasking, streaming and supported mobile games.

Reported configurations include 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Availability may vary by retailer. The phone runs Android 16 with TECNO's HiOS 16 interface according to published specifications.

Camera Features

The rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It is designed for everyday photography, including portraits, landscapes and social media content.

A 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Actual photo quality depends on lighting, camera settings and software processing, so buyers should review sample photos if camera performance is a priority.

Battery and Charging

The 8,000mAh battery is one of the phone's major selling points. It is designed to provide extended usage for browsing, video playback, messaging and gaming, although actual battery life depends on network coverage, brightness and usage patterns.

The device supports 45W wired fast charging. It also includes bypass charging, a useful feature for supported gaming sessions because power can be directed to the phone while reducing reliance on battery charging.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C connectivity. NFC is listed among its features, although availability of particular services depends on region and configuration.

Other reported features include an under-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and IP64-rated dust and splash resistance. IP64 protection does not mean the phone is waterproof, so it should not be submerged in water.

Is the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G Worth Buying in Kenya?

The phone is worth considering if you want a large battery, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen and 5G connectivity in one device. It may suit students, frequent travellers, mobile gamers and people who spend long periods using their phones away from a charger.

However, compare its price with competing smartphones before buying. If photography is your main priority, compare real camera samples rather than relying on megapixel counts alone.

Conclusion

The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G combines a curved 144Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor and an 8,000mAh battery. Its value in Kenya depends on the current retail price, available storage configuration and warranty.
